Vision care closer to the community

Community eye-care work supported free eye check-ups for approximately 5,000 people and facilitated cataract surgeries for around 1,000 beneficiaries.

The focus was on reducing financial and access barriers to essential vision care. These figures describe separate forms of support and the groups may overlap.
