Skills beyond the household

Through Mauli Foundation, Siddhali Anup Shah works with women whose skills and ideas have often remained within the boundaries of “Chul ani Mul” — home and family.

Baking, cooking, mehendi, rangoli, stitching and beauty services are treated as practical starting points for women to build confidence, explore paid work and move towards greater self-reliance.

Making opportunity practical

The focus is not on a single trade or a promised outcome. It is on creating accessible spaces where participants can strengthen what they already know and consider how those abilities could become livelihood opportunities.
